April Community Pack

Our monthly community packs are a great way to get involved with Million Meal Movement. Held at our warehouse on the 3rd Saturday of most months, they’re perfect for individuals, families, scout troops, youth groups and sports teams. Visit our Public Packing Events page for information on cost, to view the calendar of upcoming events, and to sign up!

The monthly community packing events are always the highlight of our month. The smiling faces, the variety of ages and backgrounds, the energy … it’s community in every sense of the word! Our April pack was no different, and there may have been a little extra spring in our step thanks to sunny skies, warm weather and the Easter holiday.

Million Meal Movement Community Pack April

April brought 70 awesome volunteers through our warehouse doors to pack meals, along with 12 M3 Crew Members helping things to run smoothly. Over the course of the morning, 17,928 meals were packed. These meals will be sent to our partners at Hoosier Hills Food Bank, who will distribute them to agencies throughout Monroe county and surrounding areas.

Kids Volunteering for Hunger Relief

We’d like to thank everyone who participated this month, including Kohl’s employees from the Westfield store, AFS International Youth Exchange Organization, the Wisdom Builders homeschool group, Sand Creek Intermediate Student Council, and the Weishaar and Warneke families. Their spirit of giving will make a significant impact on hunger relief in Indiana.
